Try again....

When you feel you’re lost and can’t go on,
Tired and weary from trudging along,
The path was long and a bit too rough,
And every step so very tough.
The end of it all was nowhere in sight,
And you’ve completely lost the urge to fight.
Don’t despair, give up, but try again
A different life you may regain.
Life is worth living and fighting for,
The one who’s ready has much in store,
It’s easy to give up and accept defeat
But the brave one will always willingly repeat.
There’s many a time when you would have stopped,
Just keep moving on, head held aloft.
Don’t worry or falter, but try again,
Courage and strength you must retain.
Grit and dedication are steps to the top,
The climb is hard, but you cannot stop.
So many give up without a thought
When success was theirs if they had fought.
Why long for something with a wistful sigh,
And watch precious moments drifting by?
Arise, awake, and try again,
There’s much in life you will attain.
